Meaningful Tours In Great Nature
As a small family driven tour operator, we have run active adventure tours in Greenland for more than a decade. Now, based in the Norwegian Highland, we are happy to welcome people from all around the world, to our tours in Norway as well as in Greenland.
We strive to offer high quality guided tours in the most beautiful landscapes of the North, rich in both culture and history. Our focus is always to provide unique experiences for our visitors, looking for the best routes, and most interesting and beautiful landscapes in historic settings.
Environmental and social care is a natural consequence of being out in great nature for us, and we therefore give a minimum of 1% of our revenue from all tours to humanitarian organizations, and on top of that an amount to environmental organizations for each person joining our tours.
We believe small group sizes gives better experiences. Therefore, our family tours and yoga retreats have maximum 12 participants, and our hiking and snowshoeing tours maximum 8 participants, in addition to the guide.
Nature guide Jens-Pavia Brandt
Jens-Pavia loves the great outdoors at all seasons. Being raised in the isolated city of Nuuk in Greenland, nature has always fascinated him, and from the age of 9, multi-day caribou hunts in the fjords, with no possible communication to the outside world, was a part of the yearly rhythm. The vastness of the Greenlandic wilderness made a lasting impact on his young mind, and a joy and awe over the natural world of the wild, came to him at a young age.
After a career as a freight ship navigator, he started his own tourist business, Greenland Outdoors, in Kangerlussuaq, and have guided tourists here for 10 years, supplemented with living as a caribou and musk ox hunter, late fall and winter. In 2020 he moved with his family to Norway and live now in Folldal, a small mountain settlement, were he finds much of the best from Greenland: great nature and a small quiet, yet active local community, paired with much better possibilities for education for his daughter.
Jens-Pavia is a Wilderness First Responder.
As nature guide, Jens-Pavia looks forward to welcoming you on both our tours in Greenland, as well as in Norway.
